Transform an under-utilized storage space, of an existing operating food plant, into a new, highly sophisticated state-of-the-art, personnel training and multi-use Conference Center for several food divisions.
Details:
Project involved: extensively separating spaces acoustically, from the plants operating noises; providing distinct entrances and exits for visibility and fire/egress; variety of general and task specific lighting fixtures; high-tech, multi-media electronic equipment and methods of display; installion of a new HVAC system, self-contained specifically for the area of fixed and convertible offices, as well as class/seminar room-walls; a mini-kitchen facility attached to a dining area; and all the interior finishes and signage (critical aid for many first-time participants.)
This 10,000 SF facility was designed and construction completed within a very short timeframe, four months. First World Architects Studio provided full architectural services while electrical; mechanical and plumbing engineering was completed in-house by others.
