Comprehensive Renovations & ADA Compliance

Project:
Building 9 is the main building for all volunteer related activities which involves patients, volunteers and staff - with its main auditorium and service kitchen it has activities happening there every week throughout the year. Due to deferred maintenance and ADA non-compliance issues immediate renovations and modifications were in order. Project architects provided effective and efficient design solutions based on the task order work scope. Given the need to keep the building operational during the renovations construction a sophisticated phasing plan was developed and implemented.

Work:
New ADA ramp; replacement of historical wood doors, roof repairs; replacing VCT and asbestos mastic, new finishes, electrical modifications; window repairs, masonry tuck-pointing, and exterior painting.
