Alexander/Camabeam & Associates, (NKA) First World Architect Studios was hired as a design consultant on this middle scale, 240+ apartment complex. As design consultant, staff developed prevailing schematic floor plans and overall development site plan.

Details:
Interior apartment spaces were restructured to provide: openness, more natural light in conjunction with air flow to minimize the need for air conditioning; more storage areas; a sitting porch off each apartment with shading effect. Exterior elevations were changed from complete vinyl siding to a masonry/siding combination, bringing a more permanent look/feel to the buildings. Common areas, such as laundry, meeting rooms, community center, etc.; were provided with sensitive arrangement to allow for residents to interact on a regular basis..
