Project:
The project required a creatively sensitive design of a multi-purpose culturally active operational facility. The sensitivity was dictated by the varied uses such as: worship; daycare; social services; senior citizens care; and business leasing of offices, a way to bring in operational income. The program called for a simple pre-fabricated structure, such as a metal building.

Details:
Taking the metal building concept we created an architecturally appropriate facade, compatible with surrounding building structures, so the new building fits nicely. Tightness of the site dictated a very compact design. The structure shall have three levels with the second level from grade to house offices, conference room, Pastor Study, and a small apartment. The entry contains the Sanctuary with seating for 180, restrooms, storage and main lobby/vestibule; a chairlift/elevator connects all three levels; on the basement level, kitchen, day-care Director Office, classrooms (6-7); daycare facility, lower lobby with restrooms basically.

Facility to be around 8,000 SF with expected on-site parking for eleven to twelve spaces.
