Addition & Renovations

Project:
Though having a relatively new house the Isaacs young family needed a family room addition in order to maximize their existing functional house plan. Clients were very concerned and sought: sun shading, extensive insulation, and bringing in the daylight yetbeing able to monitor and control the sun.

Details:
Zoning variance had to be obtained, due to several corner lot restrictions which challenged the goals of the project. The addition was designed to utilize the remaining deck and to sit in area where the partial deck was removed. New room with a full basement designed to naturally flow from existing spaces into new addition. Functions in addition were: T.V. sitting area, family game space, and wet bar for adult entertainment. The basement was to be finished at a later date.
