New Head Start/Training Facility


Design/Feasibility Study & New Construction
Client: Cincinnati Hamilton County Community Action Agency
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Project:
A design feasibility study to develop a cost effective and innovative prototype of functional space while refining basic programming requirements.

Details:
The building designed grossed out at 30,000 sf with 18,000sf assigned directly to childcare operations; while 12,000 sf was allocated to prioritized training programs.

Facility would accommodate 170 children capacity at any one time. Internal areas were designed for: staff offices; large muscle room; resource library; conference room; parental observation room, kitchen for cooking and training; meeting rooms for staff and community, 10 classrooms, unique green learning labs, water play lab, nurse station, and applicable support areas etc.
