As a teacher of the arts, a volunteer and an annual contributor to many non-profit organizations; while maintaining a role as an urban planner involved in a diversity of populaces and history; our firm founder holds high expectations relative to community based design even if work is Pro Bono. Ever present in such public realm projects is a need for a collaborative consensus - building process. FWAS team of professionals therefore is always committed to providing designs that are integral with the site, its location, and the social-economical contextual fabric of its placement within the larger physical context.
Cultural/civic projects as a standard typically incorporate advanced elements of sustainable (Green) planning and technology. Budgets limited by their nature - are incentive for our staff to always seek creative solutions for projects that exceed clients and community expectations. FWAS works with the goal to bring forth community spaces and places of exceptional quality that enrich human interactions while minimizing the effects on our natural environments.
