The great array of existing buildings that forms the backbone to our cities, neighborhoods, and larger urban entities provide historical basis for quality and variety of life. Staff operates with a long held belief that preserving and reusing existing buildings or facilities typically offers enormous opportunities to transform lives and places for new uses, while spring forth from the craftsmanship foundation set in the past.

Our projects include the preservation and rehabilitation of significant historic buildings as well as the unique and creative adaptive reuse of non-historic buildings. We bring new life to aging structures/buildings and transforms defunct, derelict and sometimes condemned properties with new purpose and life. Staff begins by learning richness of the character defining elements of existing buildings and then creates a design approach that honors that character while integrating new programs, elements, and systems.
