Additions & Comprehensive Renovations & System Upgrades

Project:
The GEAT Trustees retained our services, for this second major expansion, to provide full architectural/engineering services for the three directional expansion and complete redesign of its facilities.

Details:
The project involved designing and adding of four major additions to the existing facility construction in three phases, while keeping the Church and its auxiliary programming in full operations throughout. This included 25,000sf of new additions and over 15,000sf, renovations to existing.

Program/scope requirements consisted of:
Expansion and consolidation of all administrative offices.
12 new classrooms and computer labs spaces.
Expansion to existing main auditorium by 520 seats; in two directions.
New state-of-the-art Music Chapel; with CD direct recording capabilities.
New elevator and chairlifts for ADA compliance.
New 450 seat special Fellowship Hall for dining, conventions, and other events.
Replacement to HVAC systems; Electrical system redesign and expansion incorporated.
Existing restrooms and entry areas redesigned to comply with ADA regulations.
Extensive site work: major storm water retention system, retaining walls, site regrading.
New large commercial kitchen and storage.
