Major areas of improvement included: total redesign of the Academic Computer Lab Center; Replacement of selective chemistry laboratory fume hoods and furniture; total renovation and redesign of offices and classrooms for the University college; handicap accessibility modifications of all public restrooms and other areas internally and externally campus wide to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Details:
Scope had to integrate significant planning and coordination with school year class scheduling and how to target the proposed construction activities.

Project involved: a thorough upgrade assessment for six separate elevators; working with a special elevator consultant a replacement/renovation plan was prepared for a separate work scope. This involved rebudgeting the limited project fund due to a miscalculation of initial need in this vertical circulation area.
